Graffiti writer since 2001. He has always been attracted to visual expression and everything related to graphics and illustration. Giving shape to colors, Dirty 1984 is the first artist to collaborate with TRESS.
How will you define your work?
Exaggerated forms, crazy fonts.
What inspires you?
What inspires me are friends, my experiences, my city and fashion (mainly sneakers hahaha). Bad moments usually inspire me more than the good ones.
What role does color play in your work?
Enhance meaning and bringing joy.
You grew up in the 80’s, how do you think this has influenced you?
The way you think, feeling free, open and with less prejudices. That on a psychological level, in a creative level, it was super stimulating to see so much creativity everywhere. Cartoons series were the one that stimulated me and made me think about what I wanted to do with my life… He-Man, Galactic Falcons, Denver the last dinosaur, Fraggle Rock… I appreciate it infinitely.
When do you feel more vulnerable? What do you do to make yourself more secure?
When I’m in a creative crisis, I am very sensitive and I get very low self-esteem, fortunately this is temporary and I’m aware of it. What I do, is keep working after a little pause to sort my ideas.
How will you define TRESS?
Daring and innovative. I’m sure it’s not going to be a simple brand of women’s swimwear.
